About the Author

Stephen Weiland founded and chaired three successful commercial software companies. He is a recognized authority on financial account billing and management. His expertise and services in the commercial account analysis arena have resulted in impressive fee reductions for over 500 of the Fortune 1,000 companies. In 2011, Steve was numbered among the “100 Most Influential People in Finance” by Treasury & Risk magazine.

Holder of a BS in Engineering Science and a BA in Fine Arts from Notre Dame University, Steve has been a featured speaker at the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) annual conferences and numerous regional treasury management associations. He is a co-author of both the ANSI national and ISO international electronic message standards.

Steve is the morally stable recipient of seventeen years of Christian education. He is the proud father of three sons, all of whom earn their own living - not bad. Steve has lived in and cherished the greater Chicagoland area all of his life. That makes him a Midwestern fly over guy.
